BEHIND THE WORDS

The name’s Connor, I’m a passionate and professional writer with 4 years of agency experience and 3 years of in-house corporate experience. I see myself as a young and talented wordsmith with a passion for bettering my craft and myself. I enjoy working with others and I'm an avid learner with a desire to know all I can. In a single sentence, I’d describe myself as someone who’s trying to leave his mark on the world one word at a time. 

I began writing in school, shortly after realizing I have a passion for language and communications. Fast-forward a few years later, and I found myself enrolled at the Red and Yellow - School of Advertising, to study a two-year diploma course in Copywriting.

Today, 9 years later, I write for enjoyment and employment. I write to communicate my story, to express myself and to make a difference. I believe that the art of writing (good writing) is powerful, and I'm sure you agree. Its power lies in the ability to change one's perception. A well-crafted piece can take you to the past, or transport you to the future. It can educate you, manipulate you, or simply break you. It can motivate you to change the world while being the best tool to help you do so. In its many forms, it can end wars, and as we've seen in the past, it can start them too. 
 

Anyway, if you've made it this far then I must be doing something right. Right?
